Nicolas is a Special Counsel at Madison Marcus, specialising in dispute resolution and practising in building defect litigation, representing owners corporations, builders and developers in strata building defects claims.
Since his admission as a solicitor, Nicolas’ practice has ranged from multimillion-dollar defect claims and construction disputes through to dispute resolution advice on contract disputes and post-construction defect disputes. Nicolas has acted for developers, builders, subcontractors, strata schemes and homeowners in all major jurisdictions.
His experience as a dispute resolution lawyer enables him to deliver cost-effective solutions to clients through exceptional negotiation skills and legal advice. Nicolas has appeared in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal, the Supreme Court of NSW, the District Court of NSW and the Federal Court, as well as courts within other Australian jurisdictions.
