Michael Mantei is a qualified Town Planner, Planning Lawyer, and Accredited Local Government & Planning Law Specialist. He joined Madison Marcus in 2022 as the lead of the Planning, Environment & Government Division.
With extensive experience in assisting and supporting clients in navigating the complexities of the NSW planning approval system, Mantei has a portfolio showcasing his expertise in practical dispute resolution and interpretation of planning rules and regulations. His clients include small to large-sized property developers, homeowners, private certifiers, development industry specialists, and government entities in the Sydney Metropolitan area and regional New South Wales.
Before starting his legal career, Mantei worked as a Development Assessment Planner in Local Government. He obtained specialist accreditation in Local Government and Planning Law in 2005 from the NSW Law Society, recognizing his depth of expertise in planning law.
