At Madison Marcus, we love to celebrate employees who embody our values of passion, integrity, progress and teamwork. With that in mind, we’re thrilled to congratulate three of our team on their recent promotions.
In Commercial Litigation, John de la Hoyde has been promoted to Partner and Nicholas Hallasso to Senior Associate, while Anna Minassian has been appointed Associate in our Strata Team.
Group Managing Director of Madison Marcus, Bechara Shamieh, had this to say about the highly valued team members:

The promotion was a great honour for John de la Hoyde, who has excelled in areas of commercial litigation and dispute resolution. Understandably, he was delighted with the news and said: “This is a big milestone for me in my legal career. I am really excited to be part of the leadership group at such a vibrant law firm which continues to go from strength to strength.”
Reflecting on his promotion, a very happy Nicholas Hallasso, said: “I would like to thank the board, the partners and all of my colleagues for their support in enabling me to reach this milestone in my career. I very much look forward to the firm’s continued growth and assisting my colleagues and clients in achieving their goals.”
When asked about her promotion to Associate in Strata, Anna Minassian graciously singled out her mentor for special praise: “I am deeply humbled and appreciative of everything the directors and partners at Madison Marcus have done to assist my career development while still understanding and supporting my needs for flexible work arrangements as a first-time mum. A very special thank you to James Moir, whose mentorship and friendship reminds me everyday what defines a good lawyer, leader and parent.”
