The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Building & Construction Lawyers (Associates and Senior Lawyers) with 3-10 years’ PQE to join our growing team in Sydney CBD. Key Responsibilities

As a Building & Construction Lawyer, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing expert legal advice on construction law matters, including contracts, disputes, and regulatory compliance.
• Managing a diverse caseload of building and construction disputes.
• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing complex construction contracts.
• Representing clients in litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.
• Collaborating with clients, including developers, contractors, and consultants, to achieve favourable outcomes.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in construction law and industry developments.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent and a current practising certificate.
• 3-10 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE) in building and construction law.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, legislation, and dispute resolution processes.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A client-focused approach and strong commercial acumen.
