The Opportunity

We are currently seeking experienced Employment Law Lawyers (Lawyers and Associates) with 3-4 years’ PQE to join our growing team in Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile projects and complex construction matters while advancing your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Employment Lawyer/Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert legal advice on employment law matters, including workplace disputes, contracts, discrimination, and unfair dismissal.
  • Advising employers and employees on compliance with employment laws, workplace policies, and employee rights.
  • Representing clients in employment tribunals, courts, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, workplace agreements, and settlement agreements.
  • Assisting clients in navigating complex workplace issues such as redundancy, restructuring, and workplace investigations.
  • Keeping up-to-date with developments in employment law, case law, and legislative changes.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent and a current practising certificate.
  • 3–4 years’ post-qualified experience (PQE) in employment law.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, workplace policies, and dispute resolution processes.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Proven ability to handle a broad range of employment law matters and manage client relationships effectively.
  • A client-focused approach, with strong communication, problem-solving, and advisory skills.
